David Wake is a writer, director and technical stage–manager and he has an MA in Writing from Birmingham City University. He first published fiction on-line in 1985 as part of a research project trying to invent the internet (it didn’t) and the short stories formed a series about computers. I, Phone brought that process full circle.
He writes near-future SF and the steampunk adventures of the Derring-Do Club.
With Andy Conway, he con-founded the indie publishing collective, New Street Authors.
