Born and raised in the countryside, where his love for the people, passions, and folklore of the south was nurtured, D.A. Ward is a long-time native of the vibrant creative community that is Richmond, Virginia.
His stories have appeared previously in such publications as "Fantastic Horror," "The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature," "A Thousand Faces: the Journal of Superhuman Fiction," and the anthologies "Noxious Fragments" and "Deadlines" from Comet Press.
