Smashwords Interview

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Otterburn Park, Quebec when it was a small English speaking enclave made up mostly of retired WWII vets and their families. Being a reader and having a different outlook on life, the universe and everything was the social equivalent of being "the nail that sticks up" with expected results. Still what doesn't kill you scars you for life and eventually you write about it so it cant be all bad.
When did you first start writing?
Grade 3. Been avoiding second drafts ever since.
