Biography

Danielle DeVor spent her early years fantasizing about vampires and watching “Salem’s Lot” way too many times. After living briefly in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she moved back to her hometown to write. Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in West Virginia where there is a rich tradition of ghost stories. My grandmother used to spend a lot of the time I was with her telling me various spooky stories. Though, I was always interested in monsters and vampires.
When did you first start writing?
I've always been writing something. When I was young, it was poetry. Then, in college, I started writing plays. It wasn't until I was a little older that I started writing prose.
