Deborah Blake

Biography

I live in beautiful upstate New York in a hundred and thirty year old farmhouse with multiple cats. Between keeping up with the house and feeding the cats,I also manage an artists' cooperative shop, make jewelry and do a few other esoteric things on the side.

Along with writing numerous books on modern witchcraft for Llewellyn Worldwide (#11 to be released in 2018) and a tarot deck, I also write the Baba Yaga and Broken Rider paranormal romance series for Berkley, as well as the urban fantasy Veiled Magic series. My first foray into contemporary romance is the foodie romance, Reinventing Ruby.

When I am not writing, I love to read (Jennifer Crusie, Katie Fforde, Tamora Pierce and Susan Wiggs are among my favorite fiction writers), make jewelry, garden, cook, and try and herd cats.

I love to hear from people who read my books.
