Deliza Rafferty is a new erotic romance writer (spicier than true romance without hardcore BDSM - always hot!) located in Hollywood. She's written all sorts of stories and poems for personal enjoyment since she was a little girl, but has spent most of her career in the music business. She is venturing into sharing her musings publicly for the very first time and is excited that modern day technology allows her to do it at her leisure. "Deliza" means "gives pleasure and "Rafferty" means "rich and prosperous." With a name like that, what else could she do? Well...legally, anyway?
Rafferty introduces herself to the contemporary erotic romance audience with 'The Savannah Rossi Chronicles,' a series of ten short stories and novellas that pave the way to the release of a full length novel. Rafferty draws upon her knowledge working in the music industry to create the steamy adventures of sexy, independent, musically-gifted singer/songwriter Savannah Rossi, who is teetering on the verge of national success. Savannah is no spoiled brat pop princess looking to be saved. Confident, driven, intelligent and unabashed in her sexuality, she has created her own success and enjoys a vibrant sex life on her own terms with men of her choosing. Is it possible that any one man could tame such an independent free spirit? Who says she even needs to be tamed? Follow Savannah's journey to find out...
Deliza loves to interact with her readers, so feel free to visit her brand new blog/website (http://dirtydramas.com), find her on Twitter (@DelizaRafferty) or "like" her on Facebook (www.facebook.com/dirtydramas)!

Singer/songwriter Savannah Rossi receives some disappointing career news (which also happens to involve her much despised ex) shortly before she is to go on stage with her band. Ok so this has been on my To Read list for awhile (sorry Sam!) and I just finished it last night. If you're a fan of contemporary romances featuring hot, foreign bad boys who desperately need saving, heroines who are unashamed of liking sex, an "Edge" of danger and suspense (pun intended, ha!) and plenty of delicious sex, then this book is for you. I was impressed with the foreshadowing sprinkled throughout, the fast pace of the story and the use of the City of Angels as practically a character itself. Oh, there are times when I wanted to wring Jacey's pretty little neck for being so gullible and I wanted to sock Stefan right in the kisser for being an arse but hey...many of us have loved people who are destructive to us and some of us know what it's like to live with addiction...that's just a part of life for some. Unlike many formulaic romances novels, this one has a nice dose of realism that I appreciated. The ending hints at the possibility that there is more to Jacey and Stefan's story and I certainly hope Ms. Rider will indulge us one day with a sequel. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to reading whatever she gives us next! :-)
