Domenica Guerrera Johns
Domenica Guerrera Johns holds educational certifications in physical education/health, general science and school counseling. She is a former teacher, coach and school counselor at Wolcott High School in Wolcott, Connecticut where she served 33 years and is presently a retired life member of the Connecticut Education/ National Education Associations.
Domenica is also a graduate of The Institute of Children’s Literature in West Redding, Connecticut. A self-taught artist, Domenica works in oils, pastels, watercolor and pen & ink and creates children’s novels and picture books.
Savadio’s Secrets is her first young adult novel. Its cover was designed and drawn by the author. Domenica is presently writing and living in Florida with her husband, William where they enjoy yoga, golf, swimming, and other activities.
