I usually try to avoid books involving vampires/werewolves, but after reading previous reviews I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad i did! Loved it. I read it in one sitting, and once I was done, I had to read it again just to appreciate everything a little bit more. I just wish there were more parts from Kane's view point, because I just fell in love with him and he was such an interesting character. Well done on a great book. Hope you get published!
I didn't think it would be possible, but I preferred this book to The Mating! Towards the end, I found going to the bathroom an unnecessary chore because I couldn't put this book down. I could understand why Melody was still in love with Ryne despite how he treated her throughout the story. Sometimes you just can't help falling in love with someone, and their attraction was something more than that. I didn't find the two heroes as likable as Elise and Kane, but the plot in this story was much more interesting, and the twists not as predictable as The Mating. The antagonists in The Keeping were also more thought out, and I couldn't guess their hidden agenda (which was good). I can't wait for the next installment, although in the meantime I think I'll read The Keeping again. Well done on another great book!
