Diane Cox

I live in Atlanta with two dogs Sparky (alias Gentleman Jim) and Drew (alias Funky Joe). Our two cat pals Jack and Lily try to keep us in line.

My day job involves daily interaction with government agencies which has endowed me with the patience required to GET PUBLISHED!

I have always WANTED to write, but only recently have I begun to try. For the past six years I have been learning and polishing my abilities and I feel that now I can produce some pretty entertaining prose. Hope you feel the same!

Smashwords Interview

Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Yes. It was very important in my life. At just ten years of age, my aunt gave me 'The Old Man and the Sea' by Hemingway to read. I cried for the poor old man battling the sea and shark.

That was the beginning of a life long love affair with books, especially fiction.
How do you approach cover design?
To me, the cover is a very important part of the book. It should excite the reader's curiosity and make them want to 'go inside'. It should provide a clue about the story.
