I'm a Canadian living in beautiful Chiang Mai in northern Thailand.
I'm a fan of SF, Horror, Fantasy, Historical fiction, DVD serials, and Asian transcendental writing. To date I've written eBooks in SF, Horror, and Writing Methodology.
I'm fascinated by this morphing world of ePublishing. Imagine integrating multimedia in an eBook, i.e. period folk ballads as chapter breaks for a Historical novel. Music and visuals done right would enhance and deepen a reading. Ten years ago no one thought e-readers would ever be popular, and look at them now. We have the same resistance today to other emerging innovations. It's an excellent time to be active in this industry!
Many high-volume fiction writers believe they owe their success to having a coherent series of scenes before they start writing a novel. “Story Crisis, Story Climax 2” can show you how! In this book we look at how each of the 5 plot pressure points in a story (in 30 movies) presents a problem to the hero, who then responds with a decision. These 5 pressure points generate the scenes of your novel!
Zero Point Light: Book 2. Mick and friends watch in horror as the stilling on Nebura threatens to advance beyond the storm ring, a 10-mile high orbiting wall of storms. They also learn of a plan to arm New Siqdor with an arsenal of tulvar spheres. Two groups join forces as things spiral out of control. The story opens with their descent through a plasma column to the ocean floor, and beyond.
Why spend years learning how to write stories by trial and error? Let "Story Crisis, Story Climax 1" teach you how. You will accelerate your learning curve by observing, in a range of film stories, how the Inciting Incident, Turning Points, Midpoint, and Crisis Climax work in relationship to each other, the larger story arc, and other stories in its genre.
Woken in orbit about Nebura from what should have been a short-haul hiberstasis, 6 travelers discover their convoy was attacked by unknown forces. They choose to go onworld, issue a beacon, and wait for rescue. A simple plan ... what could possibly go wrong? "Storm Ring" is the first book in the 'Zero Point Light' series.
