Smashwords Interview

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Spanish Town St.Catherine Jamaica, that is just outside of the capital Kingston. My mother is a teacher she always had books. I saw my parents make a ritual of reading the newspaper every Sunday, they would read the weekly paper in the evenings when they came home from work. They always made sure we had the newspapers to read. i think that had a big impact on my love for books and it shaped my desire to write.
When did you first start writing?
I started to write consistently between 2012 and 2013.
