D. James Bateman

Biography

Guys and Girls,

I'm D. James Bateman. I feel that name looks pretty good on book covers, but please, you can call me Dan.

I feel I've been blessed with an excellent imagination and the ability to construct a sentence, but I'm no professional writer. I work a 9-5 job and only get to unleash my creative side in my free time. That said, writing my first book "The Storm Inside The Dome" was incredibly enjoyable.

My motivation was my love for good ol' fashioned ACTION. I love the Schwarzeneggers, the Stallones and to a lesser extent the Van Dammes (anyone get that Simpsons reference?). I like to let go of reality and be inspired by one man overcoming impossible odds and taking on an Army of bad guys. Biceps and Bazooka's all the way for me!

I'm born and bred in London, England, but have a passion and love for the USA. I visit as much as I can...Venice Beach CA being my destination of choice. Every day there is like living an episode of Baywatch and that is never a bad thing!

I have some more action filled works I plan to put down on paper...or a computer monitor. Let's see how I do feedback wise on my first though shall we?

Cheers,
Dan

As Hurricane Katrina unleashes its fury on New Orleans, the "Refuge Of Last Resort" is ruled by sadistic Street Gangs. When his daughter is taken, James Heath is forced to abandon his morals and turn to the Devil for help. If you are offended by violence, profanity and sexual assault, then this book is not for you. This book has more edge than a razor blade, so reader discretion is advised.
