Jean Holmes loves to read – even cereal boxes. – and is curious about almost everything. Jean is the daughter of a veterinarian who was also an avid reader. Jean is an attorney (semi-retired) and the founder of Joipax, Inc. which publishes her books and two weekly blogs. Loving to talk, she’s been a speaker to various groups as a lawyer and Christian encourager and Bible teacher. Jean has been a loved team member at the Hope Renewal-Still Waters Christian Women’s Retreat every April for years.
She got to watch her father deliver animal babies, operate on sick animals, etc. Puppies were part of her childhood. Jean’s mother raised AKC Dachshunds. Jean's had many gardens, and loves to cook (and eat) wonderful things. Horses, dogs, cats, a parakeet, geese, a crow a pig and milk cows were among the animals she and her family had. Life has been very interesting, as she has traveled, done a talk radio show, and calls wonderful people “friends.”
