After practising as a litigation partner in a London west end firm of solicitors, Donald Williams was appointed a Recorder and a full-time Judge of Employment Tribunals. He has also lectured and written books and articles on many aspects of law. In his spare time, he is a keen amateur musician.
He is hoping to have published in 2013 a collection of articles and reminiscences ‘Mainly on the Lighter Side of Law'.
He celebrated his 85th birthday in December 2012.
How often have you found yourself remembering only part of an old saying? As we grow older this unfortunately only occurs more often. However, with a modest effort the old saying may be reconstructed with the missing part rewritten. The change of wording, in some cases, produces an improved version of the old adage.
