David Rambow has collected pictures, thoughts, and many stories throughout his travels as a Disaster Housing Inspector and long tenure as a homebuilder. With extensive projects in Arizona, Colorado, Alaska, and Hawaii, Dave's personal touch is reflected in those structures as a testimony of his professional creativity and perseverance. He now resides in Tucson, Arizona.
Shortly after retiring from building luxurious residences in Scottsdale, Arizona, Dave turned his creative energy to writing and helping out disaster victims. Over the past five years and multiple FEMA deployments to stricken areas of the U.S., he has witnessed and heard thousands of heart-breaking tales of loss and despair, along with amazing stories of survival, heroism, and redemption.
None have been more compelling than the devastation he observed immediately following Hurricane Sandy's horrific landfall on October 29, 2012. The visual impact of being there immediately after the megastorm passed through, and hearing resident's incredible stories, inspired David, with his creative instincts and emotional writing style, to bring this opus to the reading public.
