Biography

I'm a 26 year old college graduate, live in Nova Scotia, Canada, and Dreamweaver is my first novel which began in 2009. First draft was completed in 2011, since then have revised and am now happy with it. I live with four cats, my parents, and younger sister. My hobbies are reading, writing, crocheting, baking, photography.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a rural community in Nova Scotia all my life, woods and forests all around me. Most of my novel is set in rural areas, however the country, cities and communities in my novel are all fictional.
When did you first start writing?
I wrote a short story for my sixth grade English class. Since then, it kind of sparked my interest, and I began to write mini "novels" or short stories on paper in binders or notebooks, then when we got a computer I graduated to typing. I still have some of those stories somewhere. Dreamweaver is my first, completed novel that I want to share with the world.

    I have to say, I really enjoyed this story. Despite being as old as I am (26), I can't help but enjoy a teen/young adult novel once in a while. This novel drew me in from the beginning. It's funny and quirky, yet serious and dark, with a lot of action through the whole story and relate-able and likeable characters. I'm glad to have given this story a chance, look forward to the next one.
