I immediately fell in love with this story from the first page. I was reminded of "Many Waters," one of my most favorite L'engle books from my childhood. The characters intrigued me and the writing flowed seamlessly. The plot's suspense and climax were satisfying, while the themes of healing and grace spoke to me. My only criticism? It ended all too fast. I hope My Loewen visits Coventry House again. I'd sure like to pay another visit.
