Christine Spinal-Grabiel


Chris was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. At the age of eight, she began working in her parents’ restaurant along with her three siblings.
She attended Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After graduation, she was offered a teaching position and taught elementary and middle school for thirty-four years. Throughout her teaching career, Chris learned much about children and the types of reading they enjoy.
She was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Marlee Marie, who continues to teach her life lessons. Chris’s hobbies include writing, reading, travel, scrapbooking, playing drums and guitar, and going to Grand Haven to admire all the yachts she cannot afford.
