Duane Youngblood


Duane E. Youngblood was born and raised in Homestead, Pa. He is the second son and the third of four children born to Bishop Moses and Sis. Sarah Youngblood.

In 1983, at the age of 17, he was called into Gospel Ministry by the Lord and preached for the first time at my home church. He has earned his Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees, while serving full time in ministry.

He was licensed to preach the Gospel in 1985 and was ordained an Elder in 1987 by the Greater Emmanuel International Fellowship, under the direction of Bishop Quander L. Wilson, Th. D.

He is married to LaShawn Youngblood and they have two children by birth, Christa and Jeanette; Ellise, Derek and Daniel were added by the Lord along with a host of other sons and daughters.

He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of the The Life Church, which was founded in 1990 in Pittsburgh, PA.

On Saturday, June 23, 2001, Duane Youngblood was consecrated into the sacred office of Bishop, by the order of the Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies, Inc. College of Bishops at their Thirteenth Holy Convocation, Honorable Bishop Sherman S. Watkins, Th. D.

He has authored several books, Life without Leprosy, Making a Turnaround, A City where Three Rivers Meet, The truth Behind the Drug Game, Freedom from Homosexuality and Moving from Blood to Light.

The spiritual mandate upon this ministry is three-fold. First, to see the Kingdom Son of God matured and raised to his rightful place in the Earth realm, Secondly, To strengthen the local church by providing teaching and training information to equip us for the current times and thirdly, to reveal the heart of God and the unveiling of his Kingdom System that replaces the Babylonian, Egyptian and Greek systems that control the current world
