Tameka Oliver- Hicks first novel, Dysfunctional (the root of betrayal), completed in August 2010, announced her first foray into the literary universe by delivering a suspenseful and well-paced tale of betrayal and deception. With a witty but versatile writing style, and all-too-familiar knowledge of inner-city struggles, she is able to pull you along and leave you wondering what exactly is going to happen next.
She was born and educated in the Detroit Public School System and discovered her passion for writing at an early age. She resides in Southeastern Michigan with her husband and two children. She has completed her second novel, Dy2functional (the constant deception), in October 2011. She’s currently working on two novels at this present time.
