Peter Styles

Peter Styles was a full-time environmental activist for much of the 1990s.

Deeply involved in a variety of campaigns, he was one of the first to be charged under the 1994 Criminal Justice Act and was jailed for his part in the Newbury Bypass protests.

He then spent several years covering the movement for the underground and mainstream press.

Now living in Brighton, he has kept penury at bay with subsequent careers as a journalist, lecturer and comedy writer.
