E. Lee Mckinney

First and foremost, I thank my Savior and Lord who gave me this new career, to love and encourage women and families, with my writings. Many have gone through the crisis of an abortion. Remember that God forgives, when you ask Him. He is a gentleman and He will not force His will in your life. Learn to forgive and love yourself also.
My favorite pastime is writing short stories, poetry and letters of encouragement to individuals. Education is a continuum as well, and I hold an associate degree in science in early education from Wake Tech College in Raleigh North Carolina, a Bachelor of Theology from Justice Fellowship College in Raleigh N.C. And presently I am pursuing a master's degree in Religious Education from Clarksville Theological Seminary in Clayton N.C.

Smashwords Interview

What do you read for pleasure?
My favorite reading is the King James Bible. This is my major source of strength for Christian development and my road map for living. Gardening magazines like Organic Gardening infuse my mind and senses in the pleasure of planting roses of reds, yellows and pinks. Home and Garden is also a favorite in which I find delicious recipes; salads, main courses in meats, desserts and beautiful interior home designs. These are some of my reading pleasures. And of course, I enjoy reading my manuscripts for future books to publish.
Describe your desk
My desk, is an old wooden oak table, which was once pecan brown, with four high back chairs. I painted the table a baby blue color, which is cheerful, for days when I need inspiration. It reminds me of certain patches of color among clouds in the sky. Its dimensions are five feet by three feet. There is one pull out small drawer, that was once used for silver ware for table settings. On top of my desk is an old hp computer about seven years old that runs very slow and stacks of various pens and manuscripts waiting to be edited.

Many women have abortions everyday. But the child never leaves the heart or mind of the mother. Some carry guilt and anguish because of a decision to abort a child. Because of work, finances, or inability to care for a child. You must forgive yourself and know that one day you will see your child again.
