Coal: Continuum Average

From shadowy whispers in his mind’s inner recesses to primordial forces threatening to consume the author’s very psyche, "Coal: Continuum Average" brings a vast dreamscape of private musings, fears and observations to light, taking the reader through a series of experiences ranging from a visceral, stream of consciousness to those observed with zen-like detachment. Author Adam Diaz’s work constitutes more of a memorable assortment of intimate moments exploding into a myriad of tangible textures than a collection of stories woven from a single contextual narrative.
His accompanying sketches smartly accent his work as a type of graffiti sharing the occasional subtle, elusive hints lingering in his psyche’s edge.
Compelling, relevant and enjoyable.
