As an epic, the book does a great job. It focuses more on the action than on the world itself, and there's so much going on in such a little space of time that you might just no drop the book until you finish. I'd love if Destonea was described more thoroughly in the next book! It's the beggining of a saga and I'm looking forward for the next one!
