A Tremble in the Air

A charming ghost story with an old-school vibe about a sensitive ladies, seances, and murder.
An inevitable psychic detective--a gentleman of leisure, or close to it--makes an appearance. And where there are investigators--there are mysteries--a whole lot of them, not all out of this world.
An exceedingly agreeable Algernon Blackwoodish romp (of his calm and civil type, not the bombastic psychedelic type) paranormal adventure for those who enjoy such things.
Well done to James D Macdonald and Debra Doyle.

Wol-Vriey is my favorite contemporary surrealist. Vulgar and hillarious, and most of all--mind bending--his stories are so tall as to be skyscrapers. This story is no different.
For all lovers of bizarro, surrealism, and plain old warped head games.
