Ellen Gray Massey
Ellen Gray Massey is a speaker, writer, editor, and teacher from southern Missouri. She has published numerous articles, short stories, essays, a two-act musical play, and a total of twenty-seven books, both fiction and non-fiction. In 1995 she was inducted into the first Writers Hall of Fame of America. She has received many awards from the Missouri Writers Guild and is a three-time Golden Spur Finalist from Western Writers of America. Her speciality is the Ozarks and western Missouri, where her family still owns and operates the prairie farm where there really is an illustrated barn.
