This book is an extremely interesting and imaginative read. I particularly loved the style of the book and it made sure to grab me from the very beginning and hold my attention to the very end. It's an extremely fast paced book with full of adventure. The characters were very inventive and they make sure to engage you from the start. First time reading any of this authors work and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a well thought out and interesting story. I found myself looking forward in anticipation to the next scene. The story flowed very well and at the end I wanted more. There are many twists and turns. I did not want to put it down This book can be enjoyed time and time again.I highly recommend it and I cannot wait to read more from this author. Will definitely recommend to all friends and family

An adorable little tale of romance. I love the way the author portrays their characters like you are living their lives alongside them rather than just watching their lives unfold. Beautiful descriptiveness and includes a little bit of humor. I found this to be perfectly written and this could have easily been a novel in its own right rather than a short story. Loved it

Wow, what a book. The characters were engaging and the story pulls you in right from the start. This author never cease to amaze me with their wonderful stories and I cannot wait to see what else they have to offer.

Absolutely beautiful and touching story. I have fallen in love with this series so much and the stories in the series are written so perfectly. It has everything you could want. Humour, romance, and lots of drama. One of my favourite quotes from the book was "I can't get this out of my mind. I can't forget. It would have been better for me to have left him out there to float away but I couldn't". A reason this was one of my favourites was due to the fact it shows the character's vulnerability but also their strength which shows due to the author's obvious passion in their writing. I love the fact that the stories are a celebration of the strength, courage, and conviction of Special Forces heroes. As with the first two books, parts of the royalties go to help Soldiers On Australia and The Warriors Return which is fantastic. Two non-profit org supporting veterans with physical and mental disabilities. This fund-raising was in the author's note as well as mentioned in their Facebook fanpage. Will highly recommend this author to everyone I know

Wow, so full of adventure and drama as well as romance. The author has surpassed themselves with this one. I could not stopping turning the pages until I had finished. I think that this one is their best yet. I am loving this series and I cannot wait for more from this author. I love the character development as it grows with each book they produce and makes them relatable so you feel as though you are living their lives with them. Fantastic writing style. Definitely a hit with me

Jack is one of the few authors I will drop everything for. This series starts with full of tension, passion and excitement and never disappoints the reader. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and even reading the last page it still left you with a feeling of satisfaction that you had read a real good story. His books go from strength to strength getting better and better with more complicated plots that always leave me wanting more. His writing style is unlike any others I have encountered. I cannot wait to read more from this author. Highly recommended

A book that not only includes love but crime, drama, and trust. This book is beautifully written by this author. This book is great: from the well-rounded characters to the interesting twist-filled, but believable plot I fell for this hook, line, and sinker. It was nice to read about realistic characters dealing with real-world issues. All the key characters ... are all well-drawn and as you work through some of the twists and turns I think they hold up well with their behaviour and motivation. I loved the dialogue and scene-setting in this book. I also found that I really wanted to know what happened next - I read the book in one sitting - all credit to the author, whose style of writing is engaging, fun and balances plot/drama with regular characters extremely well. Character development was extremely well done and I love the fact that everyone's lives intertwined with each other. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this gripping series.

I've discovered a new author I absolutely love. Angelin Sydney's books are beautifully written with characters that draw you in from the beginning. Her heartwarming stories are charming, romantic and definitely heartwarming. Though her stories always contain that rough edge grit that I love so much and stories laced with drama. This book is no exception. I love the fact the main protagonist in this book, played a big part in the first. While the main character in the first book played a role in this book. I love characters in books which they all play a part in each other's lives. Featuring characters from the past novels, this book is absolutely fabulous. The character development was perfectly done. I thoroughly recommend her books to anyone that is interested in giving her books a go!

Wow, Angelin Sydney has done it again. What an incredible mix of genres ranging from romance and tragedy to abuse. All bundled together into this magnificent ensemble. I have fast become a major fan of her books and she never fails to disappoint. I went through so many emotions reading this book from start to finish getting caught up in the characters lives. Easily one of the best books I have read all year.
  • Courting Pippa on Nov. 10, 2017

I love the fact that this book is light hearted but also includes the drama that Mrs Sydney is well known for. I loved this book. It's a great story you don't want to put down because you really want to find out what happens. All the characters are so well written it grabs you by the scruff of the neck and doesn't let go until you reach the end. I did like the way it ended but I won't spoil it for you because you need to discover it for yourself but suffice to say it is very satisfactory. Cannot wait to read more
  • Three Men, Little Alvin, and a Tonka Truck on Nov. 11, 2017

Absolutely thrilling and was kept on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. I just couldn't wait to see what came next. The characters were perfectly done and were so down to earth, a common concept throughout Miss Sydney's books. Cannot wait to read the next Angelin Sydney book and I would highly recommend this author to everyone thinking about giving her books a go
  • The Violinist and the Ballerina on Nov. 12, 2017

This is a nice, short and sweet story. Short but as with each and every book that this author puts out her obvious passion shows through. I love the fact that she does stories to make you feel better about life in general after reading it. Her books are highly universal that a wide range of people will love reading her books over and over again.
