Brahim Elboukhari is a Moroccan poet and author, during the day he teaches English at Moulay Rachid High School, at night he writes. He has written poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. Now, he is working on his first novel. He is from the beautiful village of Merzouga and he lives in Erfoud with his wife and two children.
In a small village in the South East of Morocco, people lived a happy life even though they were not rich. Their life has changed by the coming of the French soldiers who colonized the land, enslaved people, and stole al the resources they could put hands on.
These story poems are telling about the life of the people in the village during and after colonization.
