I'm reluctant to read anything to do with werewolves or vampires lately - everybody knows why. That kept me skeptic at the beginning, till I was hooked by the freshness of this book's narrative. It's rewarding to see mythical creatures treated not as monsters or super powered heroes, but as strange beings that reflect ourselves - what they were created for, in first place. It's an excellent book.
