Biography
Dear Readers,
I was born in 1974, Houston, Texas, and started writing at an early age. My first book was written when I was eight years old for an elementary school assignment. It was called Silly Excuses—a book about the wonderful excuses young children can tell their parents when they are in trouble. Not only did I pass the assignment with an awesome grade, but also my teacher loved the book so much that she had it published in the school library. She was the first to praise my writing and encourage me to become an novelist. I have been writing ever since, completing a few short stories, and starting a few unfinished novels—life circumstances slowing me down. However, writing is my first love, and Lilac Temptress, an historical romance, is my debut novel.
My hobbies include reading, baking sweets, traveling with my family across Europe, and life coaching. I currently reside in The Netherlands with my husband, Pawel. And I just gave birth my first child—a baby boy, Aiden, in May 2012. Motherhood is terrific! Oh, and I must not forget my cat, Hermes, who is also a valued family member.
Please write me and let me know what you think of the book, and if you would like for me to expand Lilac Temptress into a book series. My editor and close friend both asked me to write spin offs, but I will leave it to you, the readers to decide.
