Muy bueno! I read it in an afternoon! :) I thought Listening had a really good message of sincerity and how God is bigger than all of the boxes we try to stuff him into. There is important character development in the early chapters, which while it can feel a bit slow at times, is an integral part of the book. I also thought the book dealt with a number of difficult social/political/spiritual issues in a sensitive way. This novel left me feeling inspired and challenged, and I recommend it for those seeking a clearer understanding of life in the end-times. Good one to read in conjunction with McKay's other book, Armageddon for Beginners.

Smashing read (excuse the pun)! :) Seriously though, I found it really good. It's a very accessible length despite dealing with an incredibly challenging subject, a testimony to the authors honest and simple look at prophecy and Jesus' teachings. While the majority of religious books leave one more thirsty than when they started, I found this book to be very refreshing. I found the bible verses cited at the end of each chapter particularly helpful ;) (review of free book)

I found this book to be really inspiring and spiritually spot on. It paints a very clear picture IMO of what we can expect to come in the years ahead, but more importantly how to prepare for it all. It's got action, suspense, but also an emotional depth, that should keep most people on the line until the end. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in prophecy, the teachings of Jesus and how it all works together. I liked it, I hope you will too.

A very good read. I particularly liked the way the author gets readers thinking about economics, the environment, and relationships (issues that can be heavy going) while telling a story (and a bloody good one at that!). I found it to be quite a moving book with deep emotion, one that sobers and yet inspires. If I had 5 thumbs, they'd be up, so in lieu of that, I'll stick with the 5 stars! :)

Nicely done. I enjoyed reading this little comic, and found it helpful in getting a better understanding of scripture. They do say that a picture speaks a thousand words! :) It's got a good balance of humour while still trying to convey important and deep issues. I'd certainly recommend it for a quick entertaining, yet challenging read, which can be fitted in with your tea and biscuit break.

I really enjoyed this comic. Makes the book of James come even more to life! :) Clever, humorous, yet contains deep thoughts. Well done.

Brilliant! Artwork amazing, and great interpretation of the gospel into comic form. Well done. :)

Pretty much guaranteed to like the second if I liked the first. Again, great job!
