Anchors No More is filled with action and suspense as the story unfolds and reveals the journey of doctors Holly Marshal and Gary Neff’s time travel into the future. The two clever doctors were optical engineers in a small laser product R&D organization. Perhaps they were too smart for their own good and took on more than they had expected when they decided to build the time machine. Once they flipped the switch on the device, everything changed, there was no turning back. They successfully traveled into the future and were submerged into a slimy web of unknown danger. The future was not what they had expected. Within moments of their arrival into the future they were arrested and captured in their unknown surroundings and charged with high treason. They soon discovered that the future was controlled by the military and their lives would never be the same. The action picked up in the story and I was immediately pulled into the storyline, curious to see what would happen next. I tried to figure out the story like a puzzle, but each chapter was skillfully packed with suspenseful scenarios that left me curious about the two brave doctors' fate. As the story moved forward, there were many scenarios that seemed to unravel unexpected twists of fate for the two. The future seemed to be doomed as seen through the eyes of doctor Holly and Gary. But somehow, a twist of fate changed what could have been for the doctors. I enjoyed the action packed scenes; the vivid descriptions of the characters and dialogue that sometimes made me feel as if I was experiencing the story along with the characters. I love sci-fi suspense, especially time travel and this book will definitely be added to my collection. Overall, the storyline was a good one, from the very beginning to the highly anticipated climax at the end
