Emiliana Erriquez was born in Italy in 1977. She has a Master of Arts and a Master in Translation (English-Italian). Married and mother to one child, she has been working as a free-lance translator since 2004 and a journalist since 2007, she also worked for some newspapers in Italy. Emiliana won the prestigious Giuseppe Sciacca Award in 2006 with the essay 'Oriana Fallaci: una vita vissuta in pienezza' about the well-known Italian author and journalist.
Emiliana Erriquez published her first novel 'Lasciami stare' in 2012, Not This Time (2014), Sono solo una bambina (2015), the besteseller book 'Il mare è sempre lì che ti guarda' - on Amazon chart for five months - (2015), Raccontami di te (2015, the Italian translation of Not This Time).
