Biography

Emanuel "E.R." Carpenter is an award-winning writer and the founder of Napkin (www.discoverycalllunch.com).

He is the author of the series "ASKING: The Life-Changing Secret to Success," “Through Fire and Pom-Poms: 23 Kick-Ass Ways to Motivate Your Sales Team to Achieve Record-Breaking Profits,” and “How to Dominate in Cold Calling & Earn Six Figures Doing It.” The Capital University graduate has prospected on behalf of multiple brands including Microsoft, Salesforce, and Amazon. He has been published by Little, Brown and Company and Forest Wade Press.

Winner of the National Sales Network's Sales Impact Award, Carpenter lives in Atlanta with his family.

He is currently working on the final installment of a series titled "ASKING: The Life-Changing Secret to Success in Starting a Business."

How do you approach cover design?
I let the experts handle it. Today, I'm a raving fan of the website Fiverr. You can find designers who will create e-book covers for $5.00 and complete covers for $25.00.
What do you read for pleasure?
For the most part, learning gives me pleasure. So I like to read books on becoming an entrepreneur, growing a business, sales, and marketing. Every now and then, some well-written fiction will give me pleasure, like Gillian Flynn's "Gone Girl." I have to be in the mood for it though.
