DR. EVA KOPPELHUS is a professor and curator at the University of Alberta. She researches paleobotany (fossil plants) and palynology (fossilized spores and pollen). Her work focuses on reconstructing ancient plant communities and climates. This helps her husband (Dr. Philip J. Currie) to understand the environments that dinosaurs lived in. Dr. Koppelhus’s many field projects include dinosaur sites in Alberta, Antarctica, Argentina, and Asia.
