Since 2002, I've made my living as a "digital business strategist". In short, I solve problems.
Along the way, I stumbled into the publishing community. First it was co-hosting an author interview show that became a nationally syndicated radio program & podcast. Then it was launching a serialized free audio books service. I was even asked to write a couple of books in the "for Dummies" series, so I have in-the-trenches experience in what it means to be an author. In 2011, I launched an author education service with Jeff Moriarty.
Now I'm a publishing coach. I help should-be authors get their awesome ideas published. I also help established authors who've become "shipwrecked" by sweeping changes in publishing how to use digital tools to reestablish their carrers!
After one month of nothing but beer and sausage, I lost 14 pounds and cut my cholesterol in half. I did it without powders or pills, without blending food into sludge, and without getting divorced.
All I drank was high-quality craft beer. All I ate was delicious meat tubes of glorious sausage. And all under a doctor's supervision.
Why did something that should be bad turn out to be so good?
Big Publishing spends big bucks on professional copywriters who make terrible books sound good. Meanwhile, indie authors can't get traction for their remarkable books, and inferior pulp with more spit and polish takes the spotlight. This book teaches the modern indie author how to write awesome sales copy. It's filled with real techniques and easy to follow processes.
