Biography
Hi. To share a bit about me, I was born on October 25, 1966, at the American Mission Hospital in Kuwait. I was brought up there. I'm a Konkani Indian by descent. I moved to India in 1989.
Currently I'm the Director of VFO LIVE, a member Company of the VFO WORLDWIDE ENTERTAINMENT GROUP. VFO LIVE has three business verticals, events | exhibitions | entertainment
VFO Worldwide Entertainment is a vertically integrated corporate company with interests in Media & Entertainment, Sports, Fashion & Academy ventures. Headed by Prashant Sharma, VFO Worldwide will be making media announcements of its arrival, business plans & upcoming launches in Jan 2014.
Prashant Sharma, a top rated academician, is credited with a highly acclaimed Doctorate in Management & MBA from University of Pune. He is currently authoring a book on Brand Repositioning, to be soon published & launched by one the most reputed publishers. In a highly successful corporate career, Prashant Sharma over the last two decades has worked with some of the finest global corporations including Coca Cola India, Gillette India, Standard Chartered Bank, News Corporation (Star India TV Network), Sahara ONE Media Network & now currently heading VFO Worldwide Entertainment.
To start with, VFO Worldwide will shortly announce its launch ventures in Motion Pictures, Broadcasting, TV Production, Media Marketing & Exhibition categories. Backed with investments from reputed firms & PE companies, VFO Worldwide Entertainment has worked out an elaborate & ambitious business plan for the fiscal 2014-15.
My last position was Creative Director in Advertising. My specialization was corporate videos. As for my fiction writing escapades I write mainly Speculative Fiction - a blend of hard and soft Science Fiction. I was inspired by authors like Isaac Asimov and Robert Heinlein; suffice to say that you will understand the nature of my work - mature, advanced and exploratory.
