Fernando Crotte


Fernando Crotte, M.D. completed an Internal Medicine residency at The Mayo Clinic in 1983. He then practiced Internal Medicine in Toledo, OH for 25 years. Since that time, he has served as an Internal Medicine hospitalist in Winston-Salem, NC. He has been certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 1983.
Dr. Crotte excels at analyzing complex medical problems and describing them understandably to his patients. Combining this mentality with a world class medical education, thirty years of experience in the practice of Internal Medicine, and a clear writing style makes Dr. Crotte an outstanding medical educator. In Dr. Crotte’s own words, “I want to use my experience and abilities to clearly explain complicated medical issues to non-medical people.”

In his spare time, you can find Dr. Crotte birding with his wife Gail, playing/working on the computer, exercising, target shooting, or traveling. Trips with Gail, whether to visit family, for work or for pleasure, usually include birding, their mutual passion.
