Danny Stampede

Biography

Basically I'm an honest, fun-loving gay guy who lives each day for the pleasure of simply being alive. I don't expect too much so I'm not often disappointed. In addition to writing I paint. My canvases are very large (usually) and done in what I call my adventures in impressionistic abstraction. They're very colorful. Organic. I once worked as a landscape architect. But not anymore. I ride a bicycle or walk; I don't have a car. The damned thing was getting older and dirtier and one day it just stopped. I got $149 for it as salvage. I don't need a car. I'm healthier without one. Of course there's a lot more stuff I could say but I don't want to bore you. Or me.

Smashwords Interview

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I was born in the High Rocky Mountains in a little town called Idaho Springs. My father worked in a hard rock gold mine, the Lamartine. That didn't pan out (pun intended) so we moved to Kansas. That was okay but not good, so we moved to California. Of course I didn't have much say in all this because I was just a kid. Anyhow, California was great. Eventually we bought a small ranch north of Sacramento. So, yes, I'm basically a country boy, but not without a certain amount of sophistication I've acquired over the years. And, yes again, being a country boy (or man, now) has influenced my writing. A lot. As they say, you can take the boy out of the country but you can't take the country out of the boy. Or man.
When did you first start writing?
When I was nine.

Content in his uneventful gay life, second string lawyer Richard Johnson is shaken out of complacency when a deliciously hot gay boy shows up across the street. Totally lacking in sexual scruples, Terry aggressively seeks a tryst with the charmingly hapless Richard. Lucky for poor Richard the affair is cut short (a day and a half of heavenly bliss) when knockabout Terry is summoned elsewhere.
"Tillson"
Price: $3.99 USD. Words: 20,900. Language: American English. Published: August 26, 2013. Categories: Fiction » Gay & lesbian fiction » Gay, Fiction » Erotica » Gay Erotica
In the words of wealthy planter George Large, "Tillson carries the masculine beauty of rut and carnal knowledge on his lanky frame. His face, comely in country curvature, smirks of complicity in his mission of debauchery. He's a hill-grown slut heavily hung with the thick aroma of homemade sin." And there's more! Lots! Read all about it in "Tillson", and about everyone else too many to mention!
"John Phillip Souza"
Price: $4.99 USD. Words: 27,230. Language: American English. Published: August 25, 2013. Categories: Fiction » Erotica » Gay Erotica, Fiction » Gay & lesbian fiction » Gay
In a leisurely-paced first person narrative we are treated to entrance into the marvelously kinky sexual world of John Phillip Souza, a fellow of imagination and a certain disillusionment in the beautiful Redwood Empire of Northern California. In five parts, the story is wickedly to the point and sublimely unredeemed in its general lack of restraint. This is not the stuff of tea time talk.
"My Friend Orkney"
Price: $4.99 USD. Words: 20,050. Language: American English. Published: August 25, 2013. Categories: Fiction » Erotica » Gay Erotica, Fiction » Gay & lesbian fiction » Gay
A raunchy tale related in good taste, My Friend Orkney concerns the sexy encounters among six lusty fellows in the high mountains of western USA. However, it is the developing relationship between Clement and his friend Orkney that propels the story through an afternoon of sexual adventure. In the eyes of some, sexy good fun is a nurturing part of a healthy relationship. That's the deal here.
"Lights"
Price: $3.99 USD. Words: 26,710. Language: American English. Published: August 20, 2013. Categories: Fiction » Erotica » Gay Erotica, Fiction » Gay & lesbian fiction » Gay
Scotch McIntyre, a good-lookin' young fella of the hills, has come down to the big city to escape the boredom of the commonplace in Pea Ridge, Kentucky. Being a naturally inquisitive, not to mention horny, young man, as well as seeking to be the apple of many a man's eye, Scotch gradually widens his horizons and raises his sights as he wonder who, and where, Mr. Right might be.
"Saddles"
Price: $4.99 USD. Words: 71,410. Language: American English. Published: August 16, 2013. Categories: Fiction » Gay & lesbian fiction » Gay
The happily raunchy gay tales told by handsome furrier (a fellow who shoes horses) Crestwell Holmes as he travels the state of California plying his trade. Gay erotica at its gay best.
