Hello everyone I am so excited about my book. It took twenty years to write my book. I have worked with special needs kids for over twenty years. I do not make a lot of money but I love my job. I love the kids. I have three wonderful children and three wonderful stepchildren. My husband Calvin is the love of my life he keeps me centered. We have six grandsons and one granddaughter. We are very proud of all of our children. I would not have not been able to publish this book without my daughter's help, Dorothy Slayton, I do not know what I would do without her...My Son Billy Clark Thomas did the art work for front page( three little girls stacking their hands on top of one another s hand swearing to always be there for one another...) I also have a daughter who is a Sargent in the US Army who is serving in Germany. She has been to Iraq. I am very proud of Sargent Kelsie Wildman.
I was a single Mom for ten years then I met my husband we married four years later. He is the kindest man I have ever met and the most loving person he is so kind and gentle.
It was a long struggle writing this book because it was so hard relive. I wrote this book for my sisters literately. All the anger in my heart is gone...I have forgiven my stepmother and father for what they did to me and My Sister's...
I hope this book helps other kids from the fifty's and sixty's who were abused... Back then no one intervened with ones family it was just not done a sign of the times...
For My Sisters
This is a story about three sisters who triumphed against all odds only the strongest survives. It start's in 1945 and ends in 1968. It is a volital yet a tear jerk-er and you will laugh and cry at the same time!
