An intelligent, thoughtful account of life in a Sydney brothel. Factually based, it is almost journalistic in style yet the author delivers the stories of the characters with sensitivity. It is a highly amusing read with many erotic moments. A fine achievement by a courageous and dedicated author.
The fourth story in the Firehouse Diaries series, this tells the story of a Kori, a woman firefighter who moves from LA to Bennett, Colorado. Kori definitely isn't looking for love or even a relationship, having recently escaped from an abusive husband, but she finds herself teamed with a firefighter who ticks too many boxes to ignore. The story has charm, pathos, romantic love and hot sex in good measure, but it is above all an entertaining and well-crafted story. It is a fine addition to the excellent Firehouse Diaries series.
I have no hesitation in giving "Blinding Obsession" five stars.
I purchased the story myself and these views are entirely my own.
