Joyce Earwood

Joyce resides with her husband in the Hill Country of Texas with their two dogs. She is a Registered Nurse and enjoys reading, family events, and genealogy. Although she has been a writer since her younger days as a contributor to the Army Times, and more recently authored numerous technical and instructional materials for Texas nurses; this is her first novel. As you may have guessed, she is a veteran; she joined the US Women’s Army Corps in 1963. She is also a mother, a grandmother and an advocate for the extended family.
Her interest in genealogy has led her to discover and/or renew contact with her family's branches from the Pacific Northwest to the New England Coast, and then deep into the Kentucky and Tennessee Mountain Region.
“Bringing distant family members together has never been easier," she said. “People still read. If you just send the message out , chances are that you will get the satisfaction of counting one more cousin to your linage. Keep in touch with your kin, she advises, and draw your family close to you everyday.”
