Publisher info

At Fringilla Books our goal is to present to English-speaking audiences a fine array of French-language literature in translation, literature that we hope readers will find amusing, intriguing or moving, as the case may be, but always hugely enjoyable.

With that objective in mind we're pleased to offer to our readers two collections of short stories: "Take Five (and five more)" by François Barcelo and "Contact" by Véronique Biefnot and Francis Dannemark, as well as Luc Dietrich's two-volume semi-autobiographical novel, "The Happiness of the Unhappy" and "My Apprenticeship in the City".

We hope readers will find these works every bit as enjoyable as we have.
