Gary Johnson was born in England in 1972. He used to live in the English Riviera until his brother (Glen) convinced him to travel around Asia with him. He has been living out of a backpack since August 2014, traveling extensively throughout six different countries. At present, he lives in Bangkok, Thailand with his wife and daughter.
He has co-authored Soi Dog: The Story Behind Asia's Largest Animal Welfare Shelter, BEES Elephants Sanctuary - A Haven for Old and Retired Elephants, the first three books in The Seven World Series, and the travel book, Living the Dream. He also has a few short stories and guidebooks: The Last Laugh. How to make money selling public domain books. Thai Girls and Farangs, How to Meet a Respectful Thai Girl.
And a new series of guidebooks. An Easy Guide to Bangkok’s Transportation in Thailand.
He Owns Fugu-Fish Publishing – An online e-book and paperback company that has released well over 150 books worldwide.
He was a lead writer and copywriter for a new computer game called The Seed. The Seed is a story-driven post-apocalyptic video game set in Eastern Europe in 2026. It is a single-player 2D interactive novel, deeply rooted in psychology. It is by the same team that created the award-winning game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Misery mod. (Out 2017).
