Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
I started writing when I was 15. Back then, I used to write fanfictions just like many other teenagers. But they were rather short and I had never attempted to write a full book until now, in 2016.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The story behind "The Writer's Symphony"? Well I had always been interested in fairy tales and especially those which end in sadness. When you add a moral or a life lesson behind that type of fairy tales, you can teach the youngest and make the older ones reflect on the matter, and all that through something which not entertains them, but which is also not painful to read. However, I came to think that not many writers wanted to write such books anymore, so I decided to give it a try. "The Writer's Symphony" is in itself a collection of tales happening in a fictional world, but I decided to give it a touch of modernity by tackling problems related to our era. It is also important to note that although it is a collection of tales, they are all part of one man plot, which the reader can only discover if they reach the last chapter.

The plot was interesting, but the several grammar mistakes made the reading difficult. Also, the characters did not have enough depth, so I could not get attached to them. In fact, I could not feel anything for them, even after what happened to them. But I'm sure with experience and time, the author could rewrite this story to create a marvelous one.
