Fursdon Jay started writing as soon as she could hold a story in her head. Thanks to an enlightened teacher in primary school who wrote ideas and stories from pupils, in a note book. They were all saved for for individual students to work up into stories at a later stage. An interest in writing remained over the years and she has used her plays, poems and stories for schools' county publications as a part of her work in the advisory service. These days she is never far from a recording device when she is not working on the family farm or teaching.
Currently, she is editing the first book in a series on puppetry, finishing off one play and writing a novel.
An anthology of poems written for readers of all ages. Subjects are taken from the world around us. They are records of those common occurrences which generally pass unnoticed in a busy day. Dedicated to all those who enjoy being outside; taking time to watch, listen and enjoy the adventures on the other side of the door.
