K.R. Spooner

Biography

K.R. is a retired professor of geography with three college degrees. He was a leader in experiential education in the 1970's involving outdoor education with years of experience in writing curricula using Bloom's taxonomy as a basis for higher order thinking skills. He has been a contest judge for Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers and Pikes Peak Writers Workshop in the 1990's. He read manuscripts and wrote ten page critiques for a literary agent. He and his wife wrote Goodbye City-Hello Country, recommended by the American Library Association. Three of his novels have been close to print publication but contract negotiations broke down. He's written Birth of a Novel, a preparation workbook on what to do before you begin writing. He won first place in the Action- Adventure or Espionage category at the 1996 Southwest Writers Workshop. His novels are available at Amazon Kindle. The Diary of Jesus reached number 5 in sales in the Religious/Historical category.
