Gary Starta is a former journalist with an eclectic taste for fiction genre. Alternating between science fiction, mystery or fantasy, he prefers to write what compels him at the moment and not get trapped in any niches. Extreme Liquidation blends some of Starta's tastes, including a love for strange science, the paranormal and mystery. A graduate of UMASS Amherst, Starta spends time with his pets when not writing. Among them is a Tonkinese cat--renamed in the story Extreme Liquidation as Celeste. Myopic,a forthcoming novella from Gypsy Shadow Press, deals with an alien threat to go green.
