Gayle Sliva

Biography

Gayle Sliva has been publishing poetry, short stories, essays, and novels for over 25 years. She began her creative writing journey in 1985 while attending the University of California at Riverside, where she won the 1988 Birk Hinderacker Award for best poetry published in the campus creative arts journal, the "Mosaic". From there she moved to Northern Nevada, participated in the Ash Canyon Poets workshops and helped edit a literary journal called "The Bristlecone". In 1996 she published a chapbook of poems called "Homespun & Woven", which is now available as an ebook. In 2011 she published her first thriller/suspense novel "The Next Door" as an ebook as well.
