Born in New York City March 9, 1940, I now live in Northampton, Mass., USA, with my wife and three children. Now retired, I have been employed in construction, lumbering, packed Popsicles, was a German linguist in the army, worked in book publishing and retired from a middle-sized newspaper in 2009. I got interested in spiritual endeavor in 1970 and committed to Zen shortly thereafter. The book I wrote is aimed more at people who have the right questions (and are not necessarily "Buddhists) rather than at those with all the answers.
"Answer Your Love Letters" is a series of short reflections and observations by an author who has spent 40 years practicing Zen Buddhism.
The book offers no cookie-cutter answers to the serious and intimate questions any reader might have. "Answer Your Love Letters" is, in its way, simply a love letter that the reader may choose to answer.
